Nice, France – Días 64-66

Study Abroad Days 64-66

¡Hola amigos! On día 64 I flew into Nice, France with 2 friends. Another friend from home was meeting us, but as we were getting on our plane we heard the bad news that she missed her connecting flight in Munich.

We got on the tram from the airport and headed towards our hostel. Our flight was delayed slightly, but we felt lucky to not be canceled because most flights to France were being canceled due to the riots in Paris.

We went out to a quick lunch and got some fried rice and pork bao. We enjoyed the ocean view and sat on a ledge over the water to watch the sunset. The view was insane and I would’ve stayed an extra day just to see it again.

We went to a nearby restaurant called Mamma Mia for pizza and drinks. After dinner we went to Wayne’s bar and a Jazz Club. The Jazz Club was so fun because there was live music and most of the people there were really into it.

On día 65 we got ready and went to breakfast at Emilie’s Cookies. We got breakfast bagels and coffee and they were delicious! We did a bit of shopping and walking around the main area until we stopped for a Nutella crepe break.

We got on a train to Monte Carlo and the views from the train were beautiful. We walked around the main area there and planned on getting drinks somewhere, but they were ridiculously expensive and most places were already booked. We made the executive decision to head back to Nice for dinner and drinks. We went back to Mamma Mia, then sat by the water for a while.

On día 66 we headed back to the airport to get back to Barcelona. It was such a nice chill weekend of being by the water, so it was definitely enjoyed.

Podría sentarme junto al agua para siempre.  ¡Volveré Niza, Francia!
