Homestay – Día 3 & 4

¡Hola amigos! Día dos was quick because of how late we slept in and día tres was very similar. We woke up around 4:30pm and walked around the city until we saw the restaurant Chéri.

We shared bread with tomato and olive oil, patatas bravas, and salmon with fresh vegetables. Everything was delicious per usual and the restaurant was gorgeous. Most restaurants have an outside area you can sit and enjoy the weather, which I appreciate because the weather has been around 60°.

We walked back to the hotel and I stopped to grab a chocolate croissant to go. When we got home we watched 13 going on 30 and went to sleep shortly after because of how exhausted we were.

On día 4 we woke up and walked to school to check-in and get acquainted with where I’ll be studying. We bought transit cards that we can use for the Metro, bus, and train unlimited times for 3 months.

Lia and I moved into our homestay and met our mom in Spain. She has a dog named Tato that I already love like my own! She’s absolutely amazing and has given us so many recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Her apartment is also gorgeous! She renovated it herself and has great taste. Once I moved everything in I felt more comfortable calling this my home for the next few months.

¡Estoy emocionado de aprender más sobre mi madre en España y sentirme cómodo en este apartamento!
